Some here claim that God is in control of everything. You can’t take a breath without his say so. Fine. God is running the show. But, when it comes time to explain the bad things…Satan is the god of this world. Since this is an obvious contradiction, they will drag out the feeble excuse, “God has Satan on a leash.” How does this explain away the contradiction?
You are walking Diablo, your rabid pit bull. You have him on a leash. Any time Diablo starts to go after someone, you yank on the leash. Diablo can’t do anything bad, as you are in control. You could put on the leash, and then let go. Let him run free in the playground, eating children. “Well, he was on a leash.” You were not in control.
1. If Satan is the god of this world, is God really in control?
2. If Satan is really on a leash, why doesn’t God yank on it and stop him from doing evil?
3. Is this just some lame excuse to keep the blame away from God?
