A phrase that pops up here from time to time, especially when bringing up rules from the OT, is that Christians are no longer under the law. Jesus, new covenant, and such.
Now, does this mean that all the laws set down by God in the OT can be ignored? God said to kill the witches, but some here say that since they are not under the law…it can be dismissed. Does this mean killing, worshiping other gods, coveting, stealing, killing, are now okay? If not, is claiming to not be under the law, just an excuse for cherry picking the Bible?
