US President Donald Trump may think that Americans want peace by any means when it comes to the conflict in Ukraine. However, the latest data shows that Americans back Ukraine more strongly than ever and want to see Russia defeated.
According to the latest findings from the Reagan National Defense Survey, which were released on December 4th, a majority of Democrats and Republicans said they wanted Ukraine to prevail against Russia.
Overall, 62% of those surveyed said that they wanted to see Kyiv defeat Moscow in the war, but the more intriguing part of the numbers came from how they broke down along partisan lines. A Ukrainian victory netted mass bipartisan support.
