Hi
The Biblical: Whore of Babylon.
Female in the Abrahamic religions are discredited, maligned, in a misogynistic religious world from birth to death. Used for sexual gratification, rearing children, and doing the domestic chores. The book of Niddah uses the Hebrew word zona or zonah (זונה), which is most commonly translates to whore or prostitute in English. However, in the context of Niddah it is used for the female, supposedly to be the wife of a priest, but, not in the adult form, but in the form of a twenty-five (25) month baby/infant girl. Whose age is described as two-years and 30 days old? But, why are these ancient scholars designating the derogatory title or name zona to the female child is abhorrent in a supposed moral world. At least in my (naïve) world, where civility, and morality sit side by side, where respect of others is the norm, whatever their skin colour, sexual orientation, or their chosen creed.
The Niddah 45a:1 states: That according to Rabbi Meir, a girl two years and one day old is considered like a three-year-old, following the opinion that one day in a year is equivalent to a full year. Similarly, Rabbi Yoanan maintains that there is a second Tanna who says that thirty days in a year are considered equivalent to a full year. Therefore, a girl can be betrothed by intercourse from the age of two years and thirty days. Then on verse 45.a :5 we read:
But, if you say that the hymen is not removed at all until after she reaches the age of three. The fact that this girl did not emit blood after three years must be because another man engaged in intercourse with her after she turned three. In which case she is classified as a zona, a woman who has engaged in sexual intercourse with a man forbidden to her by the Torah, and is forbidden to her husband the priest. Niddah 45.a:1 and 5.
Islamic guidance on modesty and conduct: The Prophet (peace be upon him) advised women to walk on the sides of the road to avoid mixing with men. (Both verses 1 and 5 above are extracts of the verses to help shorten the OP.)
MISHNA: A girl who is three years and one day old, whose father arranged her betrothal, is betrothed through intercourse, as the halakhic status of intercourse with her is that of intercourse in all halakhic senses. And in a case where the childless husband of a girl three years and one day old dies, if his brother the yavam engages in intercourse with her, he acquires her as his wife; and if she is married, a man apart from her husband is liable for engaging in intercourse with her due to violation of the prohibition against intercourse with a married woman.
Niddah 44b: 9. A controversial passage in the Niddah are the theoretical possibility of a girl aged three years and one day being betrothed through intercourse. And was hopefully part of a hypothetical legal debate among early rabbinic scholars.
A study explores thought patterns of Jewish Ashkenazi Ultra-Orthodox paedophiles, in Israel, and how they resolve the contradiction between their commitment to Jewish Law and having committed sexual offences against minors. Who probably retain the Niddah, which is a core component of Jewish Law, and was a stamp of approval of their heinous crimes.
What do you say?
