Hi
Was Jesus a weakling, or did God throw Jesus under a bus, so to say?
Was Jesus scared to die, when he cried out from the cross to his father God, and does that make a mockery of the Trinity. As Jesus is plainly crying to his father, and there is nothing equal, as the later introduction of the Trinity it seems to indicate that 1 is 3, and 3 is 1. Jesus seems to be alone, and dejected.
Jesus cried out, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” — an Aramaic phrase meaning
“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” — as recorded in both Mark, and Matthew. Mark 15:34, and Matthew 27:46. With some biblical translations such as Mark using Eloi, Eloi, in place of Eli, Eli. With Psalms 22:1 giving only the English version: My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from my cries of anguish?
Surely, this is not the Jesus who was fathered by the Holy Ghost! This is the cry of the offspring of man, not a God! Only man is weak in the face of adversary, not a God, or demigod as the New Testament stated that Jesus is the product of the union between the Holy Ghost and a mortal woman. Did the later compilers of the gospels get it wrong about the man on the Cross taking the sins away from man. Where is the hero of mankind, are we to take this weakling’s death on the cross to served as a substitutionary sacrifice, bearing the wrath of God that sin deserved, and his resurrection secured victory over sin and death? And we should have faith in Jesus, that believers are forgiven, and we are reconciled with God, who grants eternal life. Well, there seems no life after death, if Jesus is the only evidence of returning to the mortal world.
What do you say?
