The Crusades, Spanish Inquisition, decimation of Native American religions, burning heretics….all kinds of nasty things done in God’s name.
Now, did God approve of those things? If so, why didn’t he do them himself? If he didn’t approve of those things, why didn’t he stop them? God doesn’t mind atrocities in his name? If they were done with his approval, what does that say about God?
