Trump threatens to shred Constitution for third term and admits possibility is ‘exciting’
President Donald Trump has renewed the idea of possibly running for a third term, despite being barred from doing so by the Constitution.
“On January 21st, 2029, do you see any scenario where you are still president?” asked NBC’s Tom LLamas, whom Trump in 2016 called a “sleaze” after LLamas questioned him about how much money he had donated to charities.
“I don’t know, it would be interesting. But wouldn’t it be terrible if I agreed with you, you know, if I gave you the answer that you’re looking for? It would make life so much less exciting, right? It would be so much less exciting,” Trump coyly replied, in the interview with NBC News ahead of the network’s exclusive broadcast of Sunday’s Super Bowl. It comes after the daughter of Trump’s doctor made a bombshell claim about his health.
