On February 5th, President Donald Trump issued a strange political endorsement on his social media website. Trump tapped into his political power to endorse Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán amid his re-election campaign.
Trump said that the “Highly Respected Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán,” was a “truly strong and powerful Leader,” in a strange Truth Social post that saw the President praise Orbán for his “proven track record of delivering phenomenal results.”
“He fights tirelessly for, and loves, his Great Country and People,” Trump added before comparing Orbán to himself. However, the President’s fawning praise for Orbán did not stop there; he continued to explain why he backed the Hungarian Prime Minister.
