What We Actually Know

I was in another discussion a few minutes ago and I saw this quote.

“Science is great when it gives us the iPhone but so much of “scientific knowledge” are based on unproven theories, science can’t tell us what light is or energy or gravity. It can sure describe in detail how they work it just can’t tell us what it is let alone where it came from. So for those who rely on science you’re simply a child of a lesser god, a much lesser god.”

It’s an interesting statement. There’s just one problem: we know what all three are and where they come from. So my questions to the religious and non-religious are this:

What do you believe light, energy, and gravity are and where do they come from? Are they from a temporal or spiritual source? Are they creations of the universe or of a deity?
