‘Trashy’ wedding photo trend slammed as others say it would result in ‘instant divorce’

Planning a wedding day comes hand-in-hand with the pressure of knowing your guests will judge and compare your every move.

As photos of your big day flood social media, any potential pitfalls can be immortalised forever – and open up your ceremony to the scrutiny of the world.

From a couple who updated their Facebook statuses to ‘married’ on their phones during the ceremony to bridemaids who were trolled for being given ‘bin bag’ dressers and trainers, it seems no one is safe.

But one couple’s ‘quirky’ wedding snap has been torn apart online after it was posted to Reddit with a caption branding it ‘the worst seen to date’.

The photo shows the groom and his groomsmen stood in a line on the grass with big smiles on their faces as the bride and her bridesmaids pose kneeling down at their feet.
