Some Christians are celebrating the exit of Pete Buttigieg from the campaign for the Democrat nomination. On their Facebook page the National Association of Christian Lawmakers says:
This is a blessing for our nation. This man held views contrary to the Bible regarding Life and Marriage. We are fortunate he is no longer running for president.
Buttigieg is in a monogamous marriage and quotes scripture repeatedly. Why don’t these people go after the guy who paid hush money to cover up the affair he had shortly after his third wife gave birth to his fifth child.
Buttigieg isn’t shy about his homosexuality but he doesn’t flaunt it. He just wanted to be president, but these people can’t handle the idea.
Could a gay or lesbian ever become POTUS?
Is it constitutional for American lawmakers to favour one religion, in this case Christianity, over all others?
