According to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, West Virginia had 39 positive coronavirus cases as of Tuesday night with confirmed cases in: Berkeley (2), Harrison (3), Jackson (2), Jefferson (3), Kanawha (4), Marshall (2), Mercer (2), Monongalia (16), Preston (1), Putnam (1), Tucker (2), Wood (1).
According to Johns Hopkins University, there were 53,660 confirmed coronavirus cases as of Tuesday night with 696 deaths. Worldwide, there were 417,698 positive cases with 18,612 deaths.
