After months of manhunt, the Chinese police finally managed to arrest the bat that is responsible for the corona pandemic. She is now to be held accountable.
“The arrest of this bat is final proof that the coronavirus does not come from a laboratory,” said a spokesman for the Chinese Communist Party. “We are 100 percent sure that she is patient zero.” Before that, they had intensively investigated the bat environment.
According to the authorities, the accused bat has now also made a comprehensive confession. Accordingly, she flew through Wuhan in the fall of 2019 under the guise of night in order to infect as many unsuspecting people as possible. The virus developed the bat itself to take revenge on humanity for the existence of bat soup.
The criminal animal is currently in solitary confinement while prosecutors are investigating other charges. If convicted, the bat faces the death penalty or life imprisonment in a labor camp.
