However, most concerning for the Socialist-Democrat Party are poll numbers that point to Republicans retaking the House in 2022. According to Stepahnopolous, Republicans have a 10 point lead over Democrats in the upcoming 2022 midterm elections, the highest lead in the poll’s 40-year history.
