You may remember Milo Yiannopoulos from his many appearances as an openly gay Englishman with a penchant for taking lots of charity fundraising money that mysteriously didn’t make its way to said charity. The former tech editor for Breibart has been off the radar for some time since being de-platformed from popular social media sites after running racist campaigns against Leslie Jones, and generally promoting all kinds of hateful attacks on marginalized groups of children.
Here’s an update: Yiannopoulos’s bank account got very thin, so then Milo tried some last-ditch efforts at promoting alt-right militant violence. After that didn’t earn him much money, Milo found God, and now he isn’t gay anymore. In fact, he’s anti-gay, and a certain kind of conservative Christian that still allows Yiannopoulos to peddle mostly in hate while working on finding new revenue streams. Sounds a tad bit sociopathic! Sounds a smidgen bizarre, right? An itty-bit opportunistic and … craven?
Let's check and see how things are going for Milo Yiannopoulos now that he's "ex-gay" and Christian. Oh, he's hawking Catholic iconography on the Church Militant's YouTube shopping network? Well, obviously things are going great. pic.twitter.com/T7OkB1SCsu

I forgot to mention that the last time Yiannopoulos was “canceled,” it was by conservatives who felt uncomfortable having him speak at their events after video surfaced of him talking about “the merits of gay relationships between adults and boys as young as 13.” It was awkward. Anywho. What has Yiannopoulos been doing in between hawking Virgin Mary statues and looking like he works for Marjorie Taylor Greene?
Got it. On Monday, The Daily Beast and others report that Milo isn’t just moonlighting as Rep. Greene’s backstage buddy—he’s her new intern. This happened after Yiannopoulos reportedly posted what seems to be a congressional badge with his name and face on it to the social media site Telegram.
Now that Milo is a "reformed homosexual" and right-wing Christian, he's calling for gay people to be executed. https://t.co/YCTLlGITWb pic.twitter.com/vJ9sK9T5Le

Before we all jump out of our skin, let’s remember why Yiannopoulos was, as the right-wing say “canceled.” He was promoting racism, attacking prominent Black celebrities, and sending the hoards of followers he had to harass them, claiming LGBTQ+ folks were basically grooming children and the like. He has subsequently followed that up by embedding himself into the militant conservative Christian QAnon world of conspiracy, and constantly threatening a white person civil war.
That’s the GOP’s platform in 2022.
