Hi
Pederasty!
Pederasty was a sexual orientation used by men for thousands of years, and in Ancient Greece, it was the norm for men to have young boys in their company.
In Greek mythology, Ganymede or Ganymedes was a divine hero whose homeland was Troy. Homer describes Ganymede as the most beautiful of mortals, and tells the story of how he was abducted by the gods to serve as Zeus‘s cup-bearer in Olympus.
[Ganymedes] was the loveliest born of the race of mortals, and therefore the gods caught him away to themselves, to be Zeus’ wine-pourer, for the sake of his beauty, so he might be among the immortals. — Homer, Iliad, Book XX, lines 233–235.
Pederasty, was rife in Ancient Greece, the Middle East, and elsewhere in the then known world, from probably before the time of Homer to the early centuries of the modern era. Most likely, heterosexuals of today owe their sexual orientation to the bisexuals of Yester year.
The evangelical commentator Ed Senter on Disqus being facetious, and rude, remarked that I [Jero] would write next a discussion on Jesus being a transvestite. However, Jesus supposedly lived 2,000 years ago, and the term transvestite was first coined in the early 20th-century. But, according to the ancient writers, who were mostly Christian, stated that Jesus loved young men, and was gay. Wherever you go within Christian scriptures or text, there is a question mark against the sexual orientation of Jesus from the early times of Christianity. The hypocrisy of Christian bigotry, they claim the Bible to be the words and work of their God! Yet, they know nothing about Jesus or their Bible, only reading what they want to see while turning a blind eye to the thing they don’t want others to see! Christian hatred of the LBGTQ+ community is unfounded, first, they should read their Bible from cover to cover. As well as the text of the non-canonical Christian scriptures and related ancient texts. It will show that between the pages, God in the guise of the priesthood performing abortions Numbers 5:11-22 against women tested for their fidelity to their husbands in a male-dominated misogynistic world. They will also see a question mark (?) against the sexual orientation of their saviour Jesus. From the inauguration of Christianity, Church-Fathers have whispers about secrets of the sexuality of Jesus. The canonical Gospel of Mark, describes how in the Garden of Gethsemane, “A young man, wearing nothing but a linen garment, was following Jesus. When they [the Temple guards] seized him, he fled naked, leaving his garment behind.” (Mark 14:51–52) The Mar Saba text, aka the secret Gospel of Mark, goes further where canonical Mark stopped, stating that Jesus spent the night with the same naked young man teaching him the mysteries of the kingdom of God. “And they come into Bethany. And a certain woman whose brother had died was there. And, coming, she prostrated herself before Jesus and says to him, ‘Son of David, have mercy on me.’ But the disciples rebuked her. And Jesus, being angered, went off with her into the garden where the tomb was, and straightway a great cry was heard from the tomb. And going near, Jesus rolled away the stone from the door of the tomb. And straight away, going in where the youth was, he stretched forth his hand and raised him, seizing his hand. But the youth, looking upon him, loved him and began to beseech him that he might be with him. And going out of the tomb, they came into the house of the youth, for he was rich. And after six days Jesus told him what to do, and in the evening the youth comes to him, wearing a linen cloth over his naked body. And he remained with him that night, for Jesus taught him the mystery of the Kingdom of God. And thence, arising, he returned to the other side of the Jordan.” http://www.earlychristianwritings.com/text/secretmark.html.
Could the young man covering his nudity with only a linen cloth have been what the American Christians believe to be an early Transexual? A person that the Christian saviour was so infatuated with, that he spent the night with, teaching him the mysteries of the kingdom of God!
There was a general belief in the early years of the Christian era that Jesus and his disciples were a roaming band of homosexuals. This would have been natural in the remnants of Alexander’s empire, but anathema to the Jews. Since at least one Zealot was a disciple, this is unlikely. However, some rites of the inner circle seem to have involved breaking the homosexual taboo. In some areas, this got out of control, and some branches of the early church were vigorously homosexual. https://sourcebooks.fordham.edu/pwh/secretmark.asp
Morton Smith’s Analysis
[Morton] Smith’s high regard for the historical value of the fragment led him to suggest a radical revision of Christian origins. He argued that the Christian movement began with Jesus practising a baptismal initiation in which the initiate received the spirit of Jesus and ascended into the kingdom of God during the initiation. It was a baptism administered by Jesus to chosen disciples, singly, and by night. In this baptism, the disciple was united with Jesus. The union may have been physical (…there is no telling how far symbolism went in Jesus’ rite) but the essential thing is that the disciple was possessed by Jesus’ spirit. One with Jesus, he participated in Jesus’ ascent into the heavens, and was thereby set free from the laws ordained for and in the lower world. For obvious reasons, this founding-rite of the early Christian movement was covered up by the dominant form of Christianity in the second and third centuries. https://www.westarinstitute.org/resources/the-fourth-r/secret-mark/.
One can ask why a dominant Christian sect covered up the Jesus baptism, and why Christians today are infuriated by revelations about their saviour sexual orientations. When most democratic countries in the world have same-sex marriages, and being homosexual is not against the law. Unless you are a Christian hypocrite, What do you say on the hypocrisy of Christians then and now?
