School/University/Nightclub Shooting in US: ___ Dead!

A serious killing spree has broken out again in the USA. In the state of _________, a __ year old gunman shot dead ___ people with a rapid firearm at a school/university/nightclub. President _____ ______ offered his condolences to the family.

A whole place is in shock. Very few can understand that something like this could happen in tranquil _____. In front of the crime scene, hundreds of flowers and wreaths testify to the pain left behind by the death of the ___ victims.

It has since been revealed that the shooter used multiple legally purchased _____ firearms in his crime.

______ ______ from the US Democrats called for a significant tightening of gun laws on television shortly after the crime. “It can’t be that something like this happens again and again without action being taken. We must finally act!”, ______ told the television station ___.

Republicans and representatives of the gun lobby NRA condemned this rhetoric in the strongest terms: “Now is not the time to discuss gun laws,” said a spokesman. “Have some respect for the dead! Our thoughts and prayers should be with the families right now.”

If anything, the security precautions at schools / universities / nightclubs must be improved – for example by armed security guards.

Observers assume that no substantial changes in gun laws are to be expected after this killing spree either.
