Californians and the rest of the nation narrowly avoided the destructive policies of Hillary in 2016, but it doesn’t look like they’re going to avoid the destructive forces of Hurricane Hilary in 2023.
Now it’s worth noting that in recorded history no tropical cyclone has ever hit California at hurricane intensity. And only two times since 1900 have tropical-storms hit California.
But the National Hurricane Center has issued a warning for Southern California this weekend as Hurricane Hilary sets her sights on the Baja Peninsula.
Hilary should be making landfall in California Sunday night and early Monday morning, and it’s possible that it will still be at hurricane force when it does.
The threat of hurricane-force wind impacts is increasing along the west-central coast of the Baja California Peninsula, where a hurricane watch is in effect. Tropical storm conditions are expected to begin across the southern portion of the Baja California Peninsula later today and then spread northward through the weekend.
Get ready for Climate Change hysteria, folks.
In addition to hurricane-force winds, the Golden State is going to be looking at potential flash flooding as far north as San Francisco.
Nevada, Arizona, and Utah are looking to get a lot of that rain and flooding as well.
