Defendant Donald Trump unleashed a torrent of anger and frustration during an unhinged meltdown in the New York courtroom on Wednesday before the day of closing arguments broke for lunch, airing his grievances and attacking the judge and prosecutors in the civil fraud case against him, the Trump Organization, his adult sons, and top executives.
The moment unfolded when Trump’s attorney, Chris Kise, sought permission for Trump to address the Court. Justice Engoron previously denied Trump’s ask to deliver part of the closing arguments when his attorneys refused to agree to terms that Trump would not attack the Court and violate Court rules.
