“It’s clear that Democrats will choose their party over their country and the truth at every turn. They should be ashamed of themselves. That’s why I am preparing criminal referrals as the culmination of my investigation,” Comer wrote in the email, which was first reported on by NBC News.
“When President Trump returns to the White House, it’s critical the new leadership at the DOJ have everything they need to prosecute the Biden Crime Family and deliver swift justice,” Comer added.
Comer has long claimed that the “Biden Crime Family” has orchestrated a complex and years-long influence-peddling scheme to enrich itself at the expense of the American people. Comer and his fellow House Republicans have yet to make public any concrete evidence tying President Biden to any foreign income – despite his son Hunter Biden’s dubious overseas business dealings. House hearings on the topic have yielded mixed results for the GOP with critics such as Steve Bannontearing into Comer for not bringing the goods and letting Democrats highlight the holes in his investigation.
