Donald Trump on Sunday morning issued a simple “HAPPY EASTER” message on his social media platform.
The two-word missive did not offer reflection or contemplation on the meaning of the day’s celebration. It followed by a mere minute Trump’s seemingly vengeful vow to “never forget our cowards and weaklings” attached to a story about Wisconsin Congressman Mike Gallagher’s decision to leave the U.S. House.
The greeting, on the holiest day of the Christian calendar, followed a Holy Week of acrimony with the presumptive 2024 Republican presidential candidate squarely fixed at the center of the faith’s most important holiday.
