Harris presidency would extend Biden’s legacy of weakness

There must be some logical reason the Democrats continue to prop up President Biden. The only discernible reason is to protect Vice President Kamala Harris from having to keep any of the promises she’s making on the campaign trail.

Nevertheless, Mr. Biden is still in office, and his words must be taken seriously.

In last Friday’s surprise appearance in the White House newsroom, Mr. Biden said that he was unsure whether Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was delaying any agreement on a cease-fire with Hamas to influence our election. Mr. Biden said, “Whether he’s trying to influence the election, I don’t know, but I’m not counting on that.”

We know that Russia, China, Iran and probably North Korea are trying to influence our election. Why lump Israel into that group of enemies?

It’s quite simple. It’s part of the Harris campaign’s effort to include Israel among the worst nations and get the American Muslim vote. And there’s a larger issue.

Mr. Biden went on to praise Ms. Harris as his closest adviser, saying: “Now, she was a major player in everything we’ve done, including passage of legislation which we were told we could never pass. And so she’s been, and her, her staff is interlocked with mine in terms of all the things we’re doing.”

Whether he meant to help or harm Ms. Harris’ campaign, Mr. Biden said clearly that Ms. Harris’ presidency would amount to his second term.

Mr. Biden’s weakness will beget more of the same from Ms. Harris. She is, as he said, his doppelganger.

We have to begin at home because our national security is greatly threatened by the millions of immigrants that the administration has allowed into our country illegally. According to the Department of Homeland Security, at least 660,000 illegal immigrants with criminal records have been admitted. That includes about 13,000 murderers and 16,000 who have been convicted of sexual assault.

They don’t include the approximately 2 million “gotaways” who have eluded the Border Patrol. Among them must be terrorists and spies.

For other examples, we have to look at Russia, Ukraine, Israel and NATO.
