Trump makes Bock Minister of Horticulture

Donald Trump is causing a stir nationally and internationally with his appointments to his cabinet. Now another controversial personnel decision is making the rounds: the new Minister of Horticulture is to be a four-year-old billy goat named Matt Goatz.

In Washington, the buck is considered a highly controversial choice. He is said to be a declared predator of all green plants and will not be deterred by fences and walls. The fact that in the past the Department of Horticulture investigated him for ruthlessly eating garden plants also makes many political observers uneasy.

“How can it be that this idiot should now be in charge of the very agency that investigated him?” asks Democratic Congressman Chester Whitley. “I wouldn’t even let him into my own garden, let alone make him the boss of all the gardens in the country.”

Observers expect that Goatz will use his office primarily to make the tastiest plants from the country’s gardens available to himself and his friends.
