Continuing with a topic from another thread, why prayers in public schools?
People are free to pray and practice their religion at home, in public places, and their places of worship. The places of worship are exempt from taxes, and no regulations of what may be taught. Same for the home.
Why should Christians, or the members of any other faith, insist their book, be taught, and their rules posted in taxpayer funded institutions?
Why is it so important for them claim exemption from the separation of church and state?
