Quack Doctors

“Doctors don’t heal. God heals. Doctors can’t heal a scratch much less a cut even if their life depended on it. Worse then that are these atheists who blather all over the place but can’t think, can’t reason rationally or logically. They see the surface but miss the depth. And believe that is all.”

Back in March, I unfortunately had to deal with an ingrown toenail. After going to urgent care and being prescribed antibiotics, I scheduled an appointment with a podiatrist that week. He was friendly and performed the procedure to remove it flawlessly, even allowing me to cover my eyes with my jacket hood. (I’m squeamish.) He kept me on the antibiotics until I finished them, gave me a treatment plan for caring for the toe at home, and scheduled several follow-up visits until it had healed fully. As of today, the only sign anything had happened is that my nail is shorter than it was previously, which the doctor explained would happen. At no point before, during, or after the procedure did I ask God to heal my toe.

If, according to JohnMatalon, only God can treat wounds, how was this doctor able to perform the procedure correctly so that my toe could begin to heal?
