White House accidentally publishes Christmas greeting with Trump blacked out

Embarrassing blunder in the White House: Because the team around Donald Trump was still fully in censorship mode, the US President’s office accidentally published an official Christmas greeting card today on which Donald Trump was presumably completely blacked out.

“Merry Christmas from President ██████ █████ and First Lady Melania Trump,” reads the greeting photo, which shows an unidentified man in front of a Christmas backdrop next to Melania Trump in the White House.

The White House responded to inquiries from media representatives with an apology. “This was an oversight by the team responsible for redacting the Epstein files,” a spokesperson said. “However, removing the president’s name would not have been necessary in this case, as First Lady Melania Trump is of legal age.”

The White House therefore intends to release an unredacted version of the greeting image soon.
