In solidarity with Hong Kong, crowd gathers in Calgary park

Around 150 protestors of all ages gathered in James Short Park Sunday afternoon to peacefully protest ongoing political unrest in Hong Kong.

Equipped with signs, umbrellas and dressed in black, the group heard speeches and participated in “free Hong Kong” chants, in both English and Cantonese, before walking to the Chinese consulate on 6th Avenue.
