Kelli Dunaway (D) won a seat in a special election for the St. Louis city council.
There is no law requiring a Bible, or any other holy book, to be used during the swearing-in ceremony, so Dunaway, mother of two, chose “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” by Theodor “Dr. Seuss” Geisel. The book was held by her two children.
