A Georgia driver is warning motorists after a turtle came flying through her windshield on the highway near Savannah.
“Beware, Savannah, of flying turtle[s],” Latonya Lark wrote on Facebook along with a photo of the reptile lodged in shattered glass.
Lark was driving on the highway with her brother, Kevin Grant, on May 12 when she spotted what she believed was a brick in the air, heading towards her car, news station WSAV reported.
Within seconds, the turtle smashed through her windshield — just inches away from her brother, according to the report.
“When the glass broke, the first thing that came to my mind was just to shield myself,” Grant told the outlet.
