Miriam and the Roman Archer
Long, long ago a young girl of Mesopotamian ancestry according to 2 Kings 17:29-34 and aged between 12-13 years old was betrothed to a peasant artisan. Who was very much an older man, aged according to some religious narratives to be 80 years? However, this young girl met a young Roman archer/soldier, who was presumably aged between 18 to 20 years if we are to believe the dating of the scriptures. They had an affair and she became with child (Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate. Psalm 127:3-5 ESV), her name was Miriam, who according to some scriptures about her time states—she earned a living as a women’s hairdresser. [Babylon Shabbath 104b footnote 19]
The Roman soldier’s name according to the earliest traditions was said to be that of Pantera or Panthera (Panther) from ancient sources outside of the Bible, but, within rabbinical laws and ancient sources.
Their love was not to last like all great love stories Miriam’s and the Panther were destined to go their way, Miriam had hoped to start a hair salon, while Panthera the standard-bearer for his legion, 1st cohort of Sagittariiorum (Archers). Were being shipped-out to Germania, the furthest northwest regions of the Roman empire. Never to see each other again!

The Pagan scholar Celsus (according to Origen) lived either during the reign Nero 54-68 CE or that of Hadrian (117-134 CE) early 2nd century. [Contra Celsum, Bk I, ch.8] Whose works we only know through the works of Origen Adamantius (184-254 CE), owing to Celsus’ works being destroyed by Christians. Pantera Tombstone
In 1859 a new railway was being built in Bingerbrückd, Germany and during its construction, an ancient Roman graveyard was uncovered with many Tombstones, however, one, in particular, got scholars excited, that was the Tombstone of an Archer by the name of Pantera. Who died at age 62, within the area of Bingerbrückd, Germany c. 40 CE. His tombstone reads:

English translation reads:

from Sidon, aged 62 years
served 40 years, former standard-bearer (?)

Sidon, which is now a City in Lebanon (The Levant), which is just shy of sixty miles as the crow flies from Nazareth or 47 miles from Capernaum (Jesus’ own city). Well, you will be forgiven to think that it is merely a coincidence, however, you would be forgetting that the NT states that (Yeshua ben Pantera)/Jesus entered a house incognito in the area of Tyre and Sidon (Mark 7:24 KJV and Matthew 15:21 KJV), Sidon it is as aforesaid less than sixty miles from Nazareth a two and a half-day march by a Roman legion based on an eight hour day’s march, and far less to the Sea of Galilee and the cities on its western and northern shore such as Capernaum. We are not told by the NT whose house it is in Sidon Yeshua visited. Could it be the relatives or family of the archer Pantera, Yeshua ben Pantera’s own kin?
Miriam did not get her Hair Salon, but did get a brood of children, five boys and at least two girls, which included her firstborn, twins, Yeshua and Thomas?
If you think this is just a coincidence, then what about Yeshua/Jesus. There is ample information to state that a so-called Jewish man named Yeshua ben Panthera/Pantera existed, he was a poor man who hired himself as a slave/servant in Egypt where he learnt the art of the magi.
