It has been suggested by a poster here that atheists must in fact think of themselves as God.
Why? Because the atheist usurps God, replacing God’s ultimate authority with her/his own.
Question 1: Does it follow that atheists must think of themselves as God because they are atheist?
How do you feel about using a simplified definition of God as “ultimate authority“?
or Would you prefer to use one of the “God” definitions from Merriam-Webster below?
