The completion of the wall was announced on Twitter by Stanislav Zaryn, the commissioner of the Polish government for the security of the information space.
“Poland has completed the construction of a protective barrier on the border with Belarus,” he wrote.
“Illegal entry to Poland is now impossible. Today, the Polish border is the most protected one in Europe.”
On November 13, 2021, the head of the Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mariusz Kaminski, said that by the end of the first half of 2022, Poland intends to significantly strengthen the border with Belarus in order to stop illegal migration from the Belarusian border.
