The ambassador brought with him to the interview part of an Iranian Shahed drone that was shot down by Ukrainian air defense, and showed it to the conference viewers. His message was clear: The Iranian weapons being used today against Ukraine will next be used against Israel.
“We are the champions in terms of the shooting down of Iranian drones,” he added. “We have a joint enemy, which means that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. That’s how I will attract the attention of the Israeli government.”
