The leader of Commie-fornia just met the leader of Commie China in a “surprise visit” to the communist country.

I don’t know exactly how this conversation went, but I imagine Newsom started off the meeting with some variation of “I admire your work!”
While we have Republican governors stopping business with China and kicking them out of their state, Newsom has decided to go with a different approach and apparently wants to cozy up with America’s rival.
Newsom and Xi discussed ways to “accelerate our progress on climate in meaningful and substantive ways,” the California governor said at a news conference, but did not mention more specifics.
They also talked about fentanyl, a synthetic drug and leading killer of young people in the U.S., and China’s role in combating the transnational shipping of precursor chemicals, Newsom said.
Anyone whose primary mission to China is to talk about “climate change” is just a sucker.
China doesn’t care about climate change! They’re the biggest polluters in the world! They just want America to care about climate change so that we hamper our own productivity!
