WOKE CHRISTMAS: Target sells black disabled Santa in Wheelchair ornament

The Santa figures do come in a variety of flesh tones for max diversity representation.

It’s beginning to look a lot like woke Christmas at Target as the mega-retailer had launched some new Christmas trinkets featuring a Santa Claus in a wheelchair.

While there’s no indication how a wheelchair-bound Santa would make his way down a chimney, nor a clear understanding of what Santa should do if chimneys aren’t ADA compliant, the Santa figures do come in a variety of flesh tones for max diversity representation. Skin tones come in “light” or “deep.”

“Elevate your home’s holiday spirit with this Santa Fabric Figurine in Wheelchair Holding Gift from Wondershop,” the description reads. “This decorative figurine features Santa Claus sitting in a green fabric wheelchair wearing his classic red and white fur jacket, black belt and boots, red pants and red hat and holding a blue gift box in his hands. Featuring a freestanding design, it makes a great option for displaying on your mantel, shelf or tabletop, either alone or as a part of a larger holiday scene.”

Target has been dedicated to selling merch that appeals to those with a woke mindset. In 2022, they launched chest binders and “packers” to accomodate the needs of women who think they are men, and in 2023, they embarked on a Pride campaign that led to tanking sales and boycotts.
