Our #Marines with 4th Marine Regiment celebrate their 110th anniversary in Okinawa today. The regiment was first activated in Puget Sound, Washington, April 16, 1914, and has faithfully served the United States through its war’s major conflicts. Today, 4th Marines is postured to execute stand-in force operations in the Indo Pacific alongside America’s allies and partners. Through steadfast dedication and commitment, the regiment continues to uphold their legacy of excellence and exemplifies their motto, “Hold high the torch.”
