WASHINGTON (TND) — Comedian Rosie O’Donnell sent an encouraging message to Michael Choen, a former Trump attorney, before his Monday court testimony, according to the New York Times.
Cohen is one of several witnesses testifying in the hush money trial against Trump. He told prosecutors details about Trump’s past and tied him to alleged schemes to cover up stories that could have damaged Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.
Just before taking the stand Monday, Cohen received a message from O’Donnell reading “breathe – relax – tell the truth – u got this – i love u,” the New York Times wrote. She added an hour later “ur doing great.”
