You own the local Kiddy Land. The plastic shark you ordered for the ball pit turned out to be a real shark. The shark is now eating the children. Parents and authorities have asked you to get rid of it. You could very easily do so, but you don’t want to interfere with the free will of the children or the shark. The shark stays and the ball pit remains open.
Are you just using the free will excuse to do nothing, because you are unable to do anything, or can’t be bothered?
