Bizarre scenes took place today in the garden of the White House in Washington. There, Donald Trump unexpectedly stood with a guitar under one of the windows of Joe Biden’s living quarters and sang a song to his successor in office in which he wished him back in the presidential election campaign.
“I want you back, Joe! My dear Sleepy Joe! Oh, how I miss you!” Trump crooned to romantic guitar accompaniment. “Please forgive me if I was mean to you. I only like to campaign with you! Since you left, nothing has been the same. Instead of my dear Joe, I now only have Kamala. Come back! Come back!”
According to witnesses, tears were running down his cheeks.
It is still unclear how Trump was able to get into the high-security area around the White House with his guitar and a bouquet of flowers that he threw towards the window after his song.
Secret Service agents then escorted him off the premises while he repeatedly shouted “Joe! I miss you! Only since you left have I realized what I had in you!” in the direction of the White House.
It is doubtful whether Joe Biden actually heard the longing song – after all, the US President is currently in Chicago, where he appeared at the US Democratic Party Convention last night.
