Donald Trump has been gifted a brand new shiny pager it has been revealed today, with the donor explaining it will help with his election campaign.
The former US President was presented with the pager earlier by his staff after it was posted to his residence by a supporter who just really wanted to give him a gift.
A spokesperson for Mr Trump confirmed, “We can confirm that President Trump was given a lovely new shiny pager this morning by a very generous supporter, who posted it to his house and said that he can have it to help on the campaign trail.
“Apparently, they are really good for getting messages, and I’m sure it will really help him.
“He’s a bit stuck in the 90s, so he loves anything a bit retro from that time. He’d have preferred a gold one, but this will do I guess.
“There was a note in with it too. Made up of letters from newspaper cuttings with some instructions, but he’s not a big fan of reading, so it went in the bin after scanning the first few lines.
“We just know he needs to keep it really really really close to him at all times it says, ideally right next to his head, to ensure it’s at maximum efficiency.
“And even take it to bed with him.”
Asked if they had any idea who may have sent the generous gift, we were told, “No idea at all, but they must really like President Trump. Clearly.”
