God told the kids not to eat the fruit. They did. God got pissed off and meted out his punishment. Kicked them out of the house, gave them original sin (which is passed on throughout all descendants ), and made childbirth painful and dangerous.
If we go by the Bible, it has been over 6,000 years since then. But, we are still all born condemned with original sin, and giving birth is still painful and dangerous.
Isn’t it about time for God to stop acting like wounded little child and let the past be the past? It’s time to get rid of the original sin and nasty childbirth. Yes, we all tend to hold a grudge, but isn’t this carrying things too far?
