Trump finally comes out in support of gun control after learning people he doesn’t like also have guns

Responding to questions about the shooting, Trump said something must be done, telling reporters, “When people I like have guns, it’s a very good thing, some might say great. A great thing.

“But I think we’ve all learned this week that people we don’t like also have guns, that’s not such a good thing. You could say bad. Very bad. We have to do something about that.

“I don’t like that this guy, this troublemaker, was able to have a gun, legally, and walk around with it. That can lead to very bad things. Very bad. The worst.

“We’re gonna have to look at that.”

The announcement has led to large parts of the MAGA movement now deciding that concealed carry is actually ‘bad thing’, after years spent defending Second Amendment rights against what they see as ‘tyrannical government overreach’.

Experts were left surprised to learn that after hundreds of mass shootings on his watch, it turns out that what it finally took to change Trump’s mind wasn’t dozens of murdered children, but a slight hit to his polling numbers.
